    Director

Throughout her career, Helen has overseen the development and launch of public art museums, private collections and estates, cultural festivals, and commercial galleries. She has been instrumental in the delivery of cultural events that have attracted over 69k visitors in a single weekend and has had the pleasure of working closely with both Australian and International artists, designers and collectors as they carved out their own unique identity within the art world.

Helen has previously held roles as: the Acting Executive Director of Open House Melbourne, a not-for-profit organisation that delivers public programming on how architecture, design and creativity can make cities more equitable, sustainable and inclusive; the Program & Operations Manager of the Lyon Housemuseum Galleries, an art collector’s estate focused on contemporary art, architecture and design; and the Sales Director of New York art consulting firms, DinaburgArts, working across cultural branding projects, artists' estates, and private sales of Blue-Chip Contemporary, Impressionist and Modernist art.

Helen holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), with majors in Art History and History (University of Queensland); an Executive Master of Arts (University of Melbourne); and a Master of Art Business (Sotheby’s Institute of Art, New York). She has lectured and designed courses on Arts management, the art market, and cultural economic at the University of Melbourne; contributed to Oxford Art Online; and catalogued the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation’s 2017 Annual Auction Gala, which raised over USD $30 million for environmental causes.
